Hawaiian Tropic Wants Consumers to Dream

The brand is giving away a 'Dream Escape.'

Another day, another brand coming up with a creative way to engage consumers on social media.
This time it’s Hawaiian Tropic, asking consumers to participate in its online contest by explaining where they escape – or would like to escape to – with the sun care product.

The question the brand is posing is: “The moment you open the bottle and take a whiff, what relaxing getaway are you dreaming of?”

Brand Ambassador Danielle Erb (shown), winner of last year’s New Face of Hawaiian Tropic contest, will be sharing the ways and places Hawaiian Tropic allows her to relax.

On the brand’s Facebook page, Erb will ask contest entrants to submit photos based on a different theme each week, for four consecutive weeks.

The weekly themes are: Adventure in the Sun; Tropical Getaway; Relaxation Escape; and Hometown Escape.

Beginning June 23rd, the best escape photos from each category will go head-to-head and consumers will be asked to vote for the winning escape. When consumers vote, they can enter a sweepstakes to receive a collection of luxe summer essentials. The grand prize winner will win their “dream escape” trip.
